In tribute to Dr. Abraham Ingber, 1948 – 2013, Dr. Vincent Prestipino has made the following commitment to Dr. Ingber, the practice and their patients:
Sadly, Dr. Abraham Ingber unexpectedly and quickly passed away on August 26, 2013.
Abe meant so much more to us than a great and talented dentist; he was someone special that touched so many lives with his loving-kindness, forgiveness, peace, and happiness. My deepest condolences are extended to his beautiful family, friends and patients. He was a uniquely gifted dentist who’s zest for life inspired everyone that he touched. We will truly miss him every day.
Many of you may be concerned about your future dental needs. I can only humbly offer to fill in for him and continue your dental care in the tradition of excellence that he delivered. I am retaining all staff members, and extending my hours to accommodate those of you who wish to continue dental care in this office. Both hygienists, Renee and Michelle, will continue to provide comprehensive dental hygiene care and I will personally help you with any dental treatment decisions that you may need. Abe and I met 32 years ago treating patients together in the same dental office, and have been partners for the past 27 years. He inspired me to pursue post-graduate prosthodontic training and mentored me both professionally and personally. We have taken many continuing education courses together, were members in the same professional organizations, invented dental advancements together, and shared a deep and intense passion for our profession, treatment techniques and patients. There is a continuity of treatment philosophy and technology that I can offer to you.
So many more things can be said. I personally encourage you to call or visit the office and talk to the staff &/or myself to answer any questions you may have, and help you in the decision of how you are going to continue your dental care. The goal of the entire practice is to help you.
May Abe’s legacy live on for a very long time.
Vincent Prestipino, D.D.S.
