What should I bring with me to my first dentist appointment?

During your onboarding appointment, we recommend bringing a photo ID, new patient forms, previous dental records if applicable, and your preferred payment method. This will ensure that your check-in goes as smoothly as possible so you can relax in our waiting room before being seen by the dentist.

Do you accept patients of all ages?

We typically see young adults, adults, and seniors. We offer specialized care for those with complex dental problems such as missing teeth and periodontal disease. Our doctors are compassionate and will tailor your treatment plan to whatever stage you are in within your dental health journey. We have the dental services you need to maintain the healthiest version of your natural smile. We also have wheelchair accessibility if needed.

What occurs during a routine preventative care appointment?

During a routine preventative care appointment, you will be seated in the dental chair promptly. Our dental care team will come in and clean your teeth of plaque and tartar buildup. They will also take X-rays and give you a gum disease screening as needed. Once the initial cleaning is complete, one of our experienced dentists will visit you. They will discuss any concerns that have been noted during your appointment and make treatment recommendations as needed. This is the perfect time to ask any questions you might have about your overall dental health or elective procedures. Once your dentist has evaluated your smile one last time, you will be good to go. On your way out, we will schedule your next dental appointment so that you know when you will see us again.

I have dental anxiety. What can be done?

Many patients who visit our office have dental anxiety from a previous bad experience at another dental office. Our dental care team takes a personalized approach to your care and we can often minimize anxiety and fear through patient education and communications. We may also recommend bringing along a loved one or a trusted friend with you to the dentist’s office for added support. You may also bring music to listen to during your procedure.

What if I have questions about my upcoming appointment?

Please call us if you have any questions or concerns regarding your upcoming appointment. Our dental care team is composed of compassionate professionals who look forward to helping you prepare for your next visit. We look forward to seeing you very soon.
